What affects the cost of ground screw foundations?
A useful estimate needs enough information to distinguish a small, straightforward structure from a heavier building, awkward site or foundation that needs deeper screws and additional verification. The installed price can therefore change even where two buildings have a similar floor area.

Why price is not just a cost per screw
The number of screws is influenced by the building footprint, supporting frame, beam and joist spans, openings and local point loads. Wider spacing may reduce quantity but increase demands on the frame or individual screws; closer spacing changes both material and installation scope.

Site access and travel are part of the real cost
An enclosed garden with a narrow route, steep ground, limited parking or long material carry changes how the installation can be delivered. Mobilisation also matters: a project that needs an initial test visit, a later installation and coordination with other trades is different from a straightforward single visit.
Share the postcode, access photographs and any timing constraints early. That lets the team consider the practical delivery route rather than hiding it behind a generic unit rate.

Testing is separate where the project requires it
Some projects proceed from the available design and installation information; others need project-specific testing before the main installation. Do not assume testing is included unless it is stated in the scope.
